Lampshade Care

Please take care when unwrapping the lampshades as they can mark easily.

The lampshades should be dusted with a feather duster or wiped with a clean, dry, soft cloth from top to bottom. Please do not use any water as they are made of card, and are decorated with a water based paint which may run if splashed.

If they are to be used in a bathroom please make sure there is adequate ventilation as steam or condensation may damage them. Ideally do not place them too close to a water source. 

They are for indoor use only, please do not use them outdoors as they are not waterproof.

Please use a low wattage (cool) energy efficient light bulb.  Old style bulbs may cause marks and are not a sustainable choice. I recommend opaque glass warm white bulbs which give a pretty diffused light.
